New Paradigm in Upper Extremity Treatment
Course Objectives:
- Evaluate and treat the role of the trunk and pelvis in upper extremity pathology.
- Learn anatomy of four myofascial meridians as they relate to upper extremity pathology.
- Learn to use objective myofascial length testing to determine the source of upper extremity dysfunction.
- Heighten visual assessment skills for postural asymmetries and compensatory patterns.
- Move from an isolated pathology understanding to a relational dysfunction pattern model as it relates to the whole body.
- Increase effectiveness and efficiency of treatment of the upper quadrant.
